We are (hooked) on Scott Lake Lodge. The facilities, the food, the fun, the fishing and the staff. For our family SLL has been a steady summer fishing spot for the Schmidt family and friends for over 23 years. Fishing this lodge is a treat for Judy and I. Yes it is a special place for the gals as well. The guides are fantastic and the lakes are marvelous. Its more than just fishing its friendships and the Far North all all its splendor.

I've fished at several lodges in Sask and this is far and away the best. It's not even close. The fishing, lodge, service and food are all excellent.

A trip to Scott Lake has become an annual tradition for my family. We have had the opportunity to visit various fishing destinations, and nothing matches Scott Lake Lodge. They have it all, great accommodations, friendly staff, great food, excellent guides, and of course, great fishing. If I ask my three sons they had only one trip this year, they will pick Scott Lake Lodge.

In 2010 I was invited to fill in for someone who was unable to take a scheduled trip to Scott Lake. Although I had never been to a lodge before (my fishing had mostly been on a river from a tent), I was hooked on the really great staff, the camaraderie with amazing guests, the lodge, the fishing and the wilderness - including 2 wolves in the wild, quite an experience! I have not missed a year since then (other than covid), but have double booked to make up for it. A wonderful experience overall, and did I mention the fishing is beyond compare!! Can't wait to be back on the dock as soon as the ice melts!

There's a few places you will visit in your life that you will always think of and Scott Lake Lodge is one of them. I'm bringing my whole family there this summer so they can experience it as well. I've been lucky to experience a lot of high end fishing lodges and one indicator of great lodge management is the staff. The Scott Lake Lodge crew is the best I've experienced with most of them having 10-20 years at the same lodge! SLL fishing is truly a first class experience.

My family has fished at every top flight fishing lodge in Saskatchewan over the past 40 years. It took us awhile, but once we found Scott Lake Lodge we have never gone anywhere else. Why? The fishing is incredible. The personal service and attention to detail incomparable. The food is awesome. Two dozen fly out lakes plus Scott Lake to fish. You'll never see another boat all day. None of this "my guide was in a bad mood" stuff at Scott. There's a reason that these guides come back year after year. Because they are good and work with a great team. They'll be as excited as you (maybe more 🙂 when you land a big one. Look at the website pics. Those aren't fish from 10 years ago caught by some guy. Those are the fish you'll catch. If you go and don't have an awesome experience, call me, I'll pay for your trip.

I have fished with the Scott Lake crew on more than 30 trips since the early 1980’s, first with my father, then my sons and soon grandsons. The fishing is amazing. The guides, staff and entire operation is world class.

Best of the best - top flight service, fishing, accommodations, food, no matter the conditions - the only thing they cannot fix - this is my favorite 5 days of the year - the staff is like a second family!

Life changing experience going to scott lake lodge! Its rejuvenating for the body and soul! J5 taught me how to fish and now I'm obsessed! The Scott Lake crew treats you like family and you will have memories to last an life time!
